Golden Leaves was founded to facilitate investments in real estate opportunities from profits generated by our principals & investor partners current operating companies. As our portfolio developed, there was a desire to activate a more structured & operational platform. This new direction provided enhanced management & the inclusion of similar investors to share in the flow of opportunities.

What We Do

Golden Leaves identifies, supports, & monitors development projects that will preserve invested capital, make our capital grow, & provide regular distributions of cash flow. How We Invest

Joint-Venture Equity:

Our core business, we seek qualified & trusted operating partners with specific asset class expertise & deep market knowledge. Our goal is to develop long-term relationships with our operating partners in the hopes of executing multiple transactions over time.

Preferred Equity:

Primarily oriented for development projects, we provide a unique component of the capital stack that can provide an owner/operator the ability to execute a business plan & secure complete ownership of an asset after delivering a fixed total return on our invested capital.

Direct Equity:

Driven by asset type & location, we have the experience & ability to acquire an asset without an operating partner if that is the best execution to maximize value.

Uncomplicated & Shared Objectives

We identify investments with a simple core mandate – if the opportunity isn’t appealing to our capital; we do not pursue it. The amount of our own capital investment in a transaction is generally well in excess of any potential profit. Our preservation of capital rule ensures the fidelity of our investment decisions. This mandate has created long standing relationships that are now transcending generations & provide for investment periods that are defined by common profit objectives, not return hurdles or structured return metrics.
